Mission Statement

Decorative Shred is a contemporary pop-up gallery located in SE Portland, OR. Founded by artists April Mirvis and Candace Jahn, the gallery was birthed out of the mutual want for a DIY space that is accessible and inclusive to artists working in all mediums at different points in their practices. As in the namesake, we are not ornamental; purpose and beauty can coexist. We look forward to sharing this space with those who are seeking it.
